Oncidium ‘Goldiana’- Orchidaceae (Orchid family).

Common Name: Dancing Lady Orchid

This plant is a cross between O. flexuosum and O. sphacelatum. Oncidium genus has its origin in tropical America and these orchids are epiphytic. They have pseduobulbs which typically have several bracts and one to three leaves. Flowers are generally yellow or brown in color. This plant was encountered in Eranakulam district of Kerala. This plant is extensively used as ornamental in many parts of the world.
