Grape leaved mallow is common plant seen in fallow lands, forest fridges and road-sides. The entire plant is velvety-hairy. The leaf shape is ovate-orbicular and is densely pubescent. The leaf base is cordate and apex acute. The margins are crenate. The flowers are downward facing and yellow in color. At the base of the flower 8-9 epicalyx segments are present. The fruit is 5 lobed and winged (star like). The seeds are black in color and small.
