Sticky daisy is a herb that grows to a height of about 1.5 feet and has wide distribution through out India. This plant is mostly found around wet streams and other moist areas in Western Ghats. This plant is native to India and is valued for its medicinal properties. The simple leaves are arranged in an opposite manner; they are papery in feel and have a crenate margin. The leaf shape is ovate with an acute apex. The leaves measure around 8-9 cm in length. The inflorescence is a much branches corymb. The flower heads are white in color and measure around 1.5 cm across. The fruit is in the from of an achene.
