Common Name: Annual blue-eyed grass.
This herb is native to Norther America. I saw this plant in Avalanche in Nilgiri district (above 2000 MSL) growing in grasslands near a small water body. The entire plant was around 10 cm in length. The plant looks grass like and the leafs are flat and falcate in shape. The flowers are ivory white in color with streaks of purple and yellow. The fruit is in the from of a dark capsule.
