This plant is herb that grows on wet shaded forest floor and grows up to about 18 cm in length. It has wide distribution all over India. The plant has a few oval-elliptic basal leaves at ground level. The inflorescence is in the form of a lax cyme. The flowers are white in color. This plant was photographed from Achankoil hills in Kerala (December 2023).
