Whorled leaf arrangement

Whorled leaf arrangement in Alamanda plant. In whorled leaf arrangement there are at least 3 leaves per node arranged in a whorl around the stem. Other examples are Alstonia tree or the Black board tree or Devil”s tree (Tamil name Ezilaipaalai) (see second picture) and Nerium Oleander (Tamil: Arali).
